Welcome to my photo album. After coming back from Paris France 2007, I needed a couple more events to close out my 5000 medal. This 1000k in Canada was the only one that wasn't to far away. After many emails getting information, Mike Maloney let me stay at his place before the ride, and a needed day of rest coming back. The morning of the start, Mike and I ridden down to the start, not knowing how many people were going to be there. Then we saw a bike coming down the road, and it was Dick, the person that set-up this ride. Not a big group. Mike wasn't going to riding the hole 1000k, he was turning back at the first check point.
